Saw the Cooper-Gaga ASIB today. Good flick. Cooper is compelling and believable. Gaga is good, but the makeover of her character seemed less credible. And the handling of the Cooper character's mental health issues was not as strong as it could have been. Still, a good rendition. Adding a clearer mental health issue for the male lead makes the character's arc more credible than, say, the James Mason version (which I liked a lot).
Me and TPR are getting there 7-7:30. We have a hotel room downtown for afterwards. It's the first time we've left the Little One overnight.
I'm probably going to get there around 5 to catch some of the opening acts.
