      1. Went out to rake leaves during the first intermission. Immediately got G knocking on the window to let me know the wild scored 2.

I might have to watch the rest from the backyard?

          1. Dammit, I watched the first two periods and then the wife made me go grocery shopping with her. I probably should have risked domestic discord to watch that last third.

  1. I feel like I can watch Timberwolves basketball again. This Butler thing really turned me off. So glad he's gone.

    1. I want to but for that thorny rose. I'm guessing I won't watch until next season when him and Thibs are gone.

  2. I got home from the Huskies hockey game last night (and Lupulin Brewing, "Work sucks, drink beer") around 10:30. Good game, SCSU beat Denver 4-3. Younger Daughter, who had borrowed the Camry to go to a housewarming party, called shortly after midnight. She had spun out on West River Road, ran into a yard and managed to hit the only obstacle within 50 feet of her thoroughfare egress, a large brick planter. No injuries, but the Camry, which we just paid off in May, is totaled. So is the planter. Now I have the pleasure of buying a replacement car and dealing with the insurance company to get a fair settlement. Our collision deductible is only $100, so that helps, and used car inventory is pretty high after years of a strong economy so prices are fairly low. Still, it's a hassle and something I'd rather not have to deal with while looking for a new job and with winter coming on.
