MIguel Sano isn't get much rehabbing in so far.

SCRANTON/WILKES-BARRE 8, ROCHESTER 6 IN SCRANTON/WILKES BARRE (10 INNINGS)

Ryan McBroom hit a walkoff homer in the tenth.

Batting stars:  Wilin Rosario was 2-for-4 with a home run (his fifth), a walk, and three runs.  Jordany Valdespin was 2-for-4 with a walk.  Randy Cesar was 2-for-5 with two RBIs.  Luke Raley was 1-for-4 with a two-run homer, his fifth.

Pitching stars:  Zack Littell struck out seven in seven innings, giving up four runs on seven hits and two walks.  Andrew Vasquez pitched a scoreless inning, giving up one hit.

Opposition star:  McBroom was 4-for-5 with a two-run homer and three runs.

Stats:  Cesar is batting .321.

Record:  The Red Wings are 10-15, tied for fifth with Buffalo in the International League North, 6.5 games behind Syracuse.

BILOXI 7, PENSACOLA 3 IN PENSACOLA

The Shuckers scored three in the second and four in the third to build a 7-0 lead.

Batting star:  Travis Blankenhorn was 2-for-4.

Pitching stars:  Sam Clay struck out three in two shutout innings, giving up no hits but three walks.  Adam Bray struck out three in three perfect innings.

Opposition star:  Michael O'Neil was 2-for-4 with a triple and four RBIs.

Stats:  Blankenhorn is batting .350.  Jaylin Davis was 1-for-4 and is batting .311.  Luis Arraez was 1-for-5 and is batting .310.  Sean Poppen pitched two innings, giving up three runs on three his and four walks and striking out two, and has an ERA of 2.57.  Bray has an ERA of 2.51.

The Blue Wahoos had five starters with batting averages below .200.

Record:  The Blue Wahoos are 17-9, first in the Southern League South, four games ahead of Biloxi.

CLEARWATER AT FORT MYERS

Rained out.  Miguel Sano's rehab is certainly off to a slow start.  He saw one strike in three plate appearances Tuesday and was rained out yesterday.

BOWLING GREEN 3, CEDAR RAPIDS 2 IN CEDAR RAPIDS (GAME 1--7 INNINGS)

Osmy Gregorio hit a two-run homer in the fifth to give the Hot Rods a 3-2 lead.

Batting star:  David Banuelos was 1-for-3 with a home run.  That was the only hit the Kernels had.

Pitching stars:  Luis Rijo pitched six innings, giving up three runs (one earned) on five hits and no walks and striking out five.  Carlos Suniaga pitched a perfect inning, striking out one.

Stats:  Gabriel Maciel was 0-for-2 with a walk and is batting .308.

Six of the Kernels' starters had batting averages below .200

Record:  The Kernels are 11-13.

CEDAR RAPIDS 6, BOWLING GREEN 4 IN CEDAR RAPIDS (GAME 2--7 INNINGS)

Andrew Bechtold homered in the fifth to give the Kernels the lead, as they turned a 4-2 deficit into a 5-4 lead.

Batting stars:  Yeltsin Encarnacion was 2-for-2 with a walk.  Chris Williams was 2-for-3 with a home run (his fifth) and a walk, scoring three times.  Ben Rodriguez was 2-for-4 with a double and three RBIs.  Bechtold was 1-for-3 with a home run, his second.

Pitching stars:  Austin Schulfer struck out six in four innings, giving up two runs on two hits and two walks.  Joe Record pitched a perfect inning, striking out one.

Opposition star:  Wander Franco was 2-for-4.

Stats:  Gabe Snyder was 1-for-3 with a walk and is batting .327.  Gabirel Maciel was 1-for-2 with two walks and is batting .317.  Schulfer has an ERA of 2.41.  Tyler Palm pitched two innings, giving up two unearned runs on two hits and striking out one, and has an ERA of 2.84.  Record has an ERA of zero.

Record:  The Kernels are 12-13, sixth in the Midwest League Western, 2.5 games behind Burlington and Kane County.
