Ryan McBroom singled home the go-ahead run in the fifth and the RailRiders added three in the eighth.

Batting stars:  Nick Gordon made his season debut and went 3-for-5.  Jordany Valdespin was 2-for-3 with a walk.  Tomas Telis was 2-for-3.

Pitching star:  Ryan Eades struck out two in two shutout innings, giving up one hit.

Opposition star:  Gosuke Katoh was 3-for-5 with a home run (his sixth), a walk, and three runs.

Stats:  Gordon is batting .600.  Randy Cesar was 0-for-5 and is batting .302.

Trevor Larnach singled home the deciding run with one out in the seventh.

Pitching star:  Hector Lujan pitched two shutout innings, giving up a hit and a walk and striking out one.
