I'm expecting a cavalcade of bombas today against Nova (Nova may mean "won't go" in spanish, but it means "go far" in Chicagoan). But I'll pick Cron.
It means "impressive explosion" in astronomical terms AND in Twins offense terms
So, old age. I've been fighting with pretty serious back, neck and shoulder pain, and tingling/numbness in my hand, for about 3 weeks. It escalated enough for me to go thursday to see the doctor, get x-rays and schedule an appointment with ortho (all the radiologist saw, allegedly, was "some arthritis" in my neck; uh huh). And a return trip to Urgent Care yesterday as the pain sky-rocketed.
1. Toradol takes a while, but seems to have taken some of the edge off. But not much.
2. Flexeril allowed me to get my first decent night's sleep in 3 weeks.
3. Getting old still sucks.

I have a sit/stand rig at work. It is great. I spend most days standing most of the time that I am not in meetings.
Sorry to hear that brianS! I totally agree on the getting old sucks comment. The aches and pains are catching up to me too!

And Cleveland has now lost back-to-back games 13-0 to the worst team in the league. When it happens once, you can shrug it off with "Well, that's baseball." But when it happens twice in a row, that has to be both embarrassing and discouraging.
We need to put some teeth into the HR contest rules, and we should throw in some real Royal Fizzbin randomness too, while we're at it. One point for first HR, double it for each subsequent one by the pick. Some multiplier if it's inside the park or grand slam. Five HR by the team, and everyone's pick moves down to the next batter in the lineup. PH HR and everyone gets a free pick. Stuff like that.
