Wilin Rosario hit a grand slam in the third to give the Red Wings a 3-1 lead and they never looked back.  Rosario was 3-for-5 with two home runs (his eighteenth and nineteenth), three runs, and six RBIs.  He is batting .307.  Drew Maggi was 2-for-4 with a walk and two runs.  Ian Miller was 2-for-4 with two runs.  Ivan De Jesus was 2-for-5.  Brandon Barnes was 1-for-4 with a grand slam (his twenty-seventh homer) and two runs.  Randy Dobnak pitched five innings, giving up one run on two hits and striking out three.  His ERA is 1.98.  Cody Stashak pitched a scoreless inning, giving up one hit.  His ERA is 1.54.  Ryan O'Rourke pitched two perfect innings, striking out two.  Jake Reed struck out two in a perfect inning.  The Red Wings are 63-62, in fourth place, three games back.

JUPITER 5, FORT MYERS 1 IN JUPITER

The Hammerheads scored two in the first and led the rest of the way.  Andrew Bechtold was 4-for-4.  Jacob Pearson was 2-for-4.  Yennier Cano pitched a scoreless inning, giving up two walks and striking out one.  Johan Quezada pitched a perfect inning.  Zach Neff pitched a scoreless inning, giving up two hits.  The Miracle is 29-28, in fourth place, twelve games back.

QUAD CITIES 5, CEDAR RAPIDS 4 IN QUAD CITIES

The River Bandits led 5-0 after six as a Kernels rally fell short.  DaShwan Keirsey was 2-for-3 with a double, a walk, and three RBIs.  Brian Rapp struck out two in a scoreless inning, giving up two hits.  Jose Martinez pitched a scoreless inning, giving up a walk.  The Kernels are 31-24, tied for third, four games back.

PRINCETON 4, ELIZABETHTON 2 IN PRINCETON

The Rays scored two in the fourth to break a 2-2 tie.  Max Smith was 2-for-4 with a home run, his sixth.  Yancarlos Baez pitched a scoreless inning, giving up one hit in his Appalachian League debut.  Steven Cruz struck out two in two shutout innings, giving up a walk.  The Twins are 27-30, in fourth place, 1.5 games back.
