2020 Game Log Ten: Pittsburgh Pirates at Minnesota Twins

The Twins are coming off a fine series against the Spiders capped off by 2-hitter bullpen game. They start 7-2 for the fifth time in their franchise and first time since 2001 (I think that's right). Sunday was a bullpen game because they pushed Bailey's start to today, though that plan didn't work as they put him on the shelf today. Lewis Thorpe will come out of the bullpen and take the mound instead, making his 3rd MLB start.

Flip over to the NL Central and flip the record, and you have today's opponent, the Buccaneers. Here's a two bird, one stone tweet:

They're helmed by familiar face Derek Shelton, and coming off a tough extra inning loss to the Cubs. Derek Holland and his 0-5, 7.98 ERA Target Field credentials will start for the Pirates today.

Should they cancel everything before Wednesday's game, at least the Twins got to enjoy this whole thing from the comfort of home.
