The Wind Surge took a 2-1 lead in the third and the pitching did the rest.

Trey Cabbage hit a three-run homer in the ninth to break a 4-4 tie.

Pitching star:  Jonathan Cheshire retired all four men he faced, striking out two.

Opposition stars:  Seamus Curran was 2-for-3 with a double, two walks, and two RBIs.  Sam Williams struck out three in two shutout innings, giving up two walks.
