The Clippers scored six runs in the second inning.

Batting stars:  Mark Contreras was 2-for-3 with a double.  J. T. Riddle was 1-for-2 with two walks and two RBIs.

Pitching stars:  Ian Hamilton struck out four in two shutout innings, giving up a walk.  Derek Law struck out the side in a perfect inning.

Opposition stars:  Daniel Johnson was 1-for-4 with a home run, his ninth.  Francisco Perez pitched 2.1 scoreless innings, giving up one hit and striking out two.

Starter:  Charlie Barnes pitched five innings, allowing seven runs (six earned) on seven hits and two walks and striking out four.

Good stats:  Hamilton has an ERA of 0.96.
