  1. This is a pet peeve, and not aimed specifically at Joe Buck (who might not even have had anything to say about it), but I don't like it when the network guy comes in and takes the P. A. introductions away from the guy who's been doing the P. A. all year. He gets one chance to shine on the national stage, and the network comes in and takes it away from him.

    1. Co-sign. We have to listen to Buck all damn game. The local PA guy deserves a moment in the spotlight.

Also, WTF did Buck think he was doing trying to talk to Hendriks while he was pitching!!??

Gawd, I hate the in-game interviews. And I hate the in-game, on-field interviews with the fire of a thousand suns.

  2. Early evening farm report:

St. Paul scored three in the first and leads Columbus 3-0 in the third. Jake Cave hit a two-run homer and Brent Rooker hit a solo shot, his fifteenth. Griffin Jax has given up one hit in 2.1 innings.
Wichita scored two in the second and leads Tulsa 2-0 in the third. Trey Cabbage hit a two-run homer. Austin Schulfer has retired the first seven batters.
Cedar Rapids scored three in the first and leads South Bend 3-1 in the fourth. Seth Gray hit a three-run homer, his seventh. Cody Laweryson has struck out four in three innings.
Fort Myers scored eight in the second and leads Jupiter 8-1 in the third. Misael Urbina hit a grand slam. Brent Headrick has struck out three in two innings.
