  1. Nothing like starting the game by having your shortstop make a great play and then having your first baseman drop the ball. This makes two games out of three where the Twins made an error on the first play of the game.

  2. Tonight's early farm report:

St. Paul defeated Omaha 6-4 in ten innings. Drew Maggi homered to tie it in the ninth and Jose Miranda's RBI double brought home the go-ahead run.
Wichita leads Arkansas 1-0 in the second. Roy Morales doubled home the game's lone run.
Cedar Rapids and Beloit are tied 1-1 in the fourth. Matt Wallner homered for the Kernels' run.
Fort Myers trails Daytona 4-2 in the sixth. Aaron Rozek has gone all the way for the Mighty Mussels.

  3. An efficient start by Ober: 66 pitches to finish five innings. Unfortunately he's on a pitch limit this season so only short starts for him. Or perhaps fortunately so he doesn't face the lineup too many times.
