Twins Game 98: Angels at Twins

I don't see a game log, so here is one.  Brent Rooker is finally up and will be the DH tonight.  J. A. Happ is on the mound, which doesn't give me a lot of confidence, but he has pitched good games sometimes, so maybe he will tonight.  It's baseball, and as Joaquin Andujar told us, youneverknow.  Go Twins!

  1. I get the impression that last night, a lot of Twins fans also became Tampa Bay Rays fans, at least temporarily.

    1. You wouldn't get much for him, but I think somebody would take him. I haven't gone through rosters, but I suspect there's someone who's desperate enough for pitching that they'd think they could straighten him out. Of course, if they might think the Twins will just DFA him and wait until he becomes a free agent.

  2. I'm curious just how many months Happ has to have an ERA above 9.00 before he loses his rotation spot.

    1. Still at zero months above 9.00 ERA. He has two months below 7.00 and June missed by 0.07. April was below 2.00 and it got worse real fast.
