  1. Games like last night's makes me lose even more respect for Wiggins. He has the ability. He doesn't have the motivation.

      1. I think the "so and so doesn't try" thing is usually BS but it really rings true with Wiggins. It's like he doesn't even try to hide it.

          1. First of all, they shoulda kept Zach. Second of all, I wish they had gotten anyone else for Wiggins other than Russell.

            1. Man, while Thibs got the Wolves to the Playoffs, he really did muck things up by getting rid of Zach.

                1. Glenn Taylor looked Wiggins in the eye and made sure he'd play hard before banking up the Brinks truck in his driveway.

                  1. Whenever someone tells me Glen Taylor must be smart because he's a billionaire, I come back to this.

    1. Last night was a game where old number 1 shone as brightly as he ever has and nearly everyone else was meh. The Wolves have guys that play hard (Vanderbilt), but unless Edwards, Towns, and DLo show up, they won't be winning games. DLo has been pretty stinky. Towns had one 2pt. field goal. He is completely lost in the low post. He's committed so many offensive fouls this year that he's now just taking contested jump and hook shots when he gets the ball and those shots are not falling.

  2. Learned two days ago that my 16-year old nephew has tested positive for Covid, despite being vaccinated. He has been having difficulty breathing. He lives in SD -- no masks in school -- and the virus has been circulating throughout the school. He is immunocompromised, as he has type I diabetes, Crohn's disease, and Celiac disease. He is exactly the type of person who we have to protect the most. He's not some old dude, nearing the end of an expected life span. He's 16. His 14 year old sister also has type I diabetes.

He received monoclonal antibodies yesterday, so we will see how it goes.

    1. Praying for a good outcome for your family, Stick. This virus is just insidious, and it has way too many enablers.

    2. Hope things improve for him, and the rest of the family, too.

My mother-in-law tested positive on Tuesday, which was also the same day my father-in-law was in the hospital for a cardiac catheter procedure. So far, she has no symptoms at all, and is just super bored from sitting in quarantine. Our big worry at this point is the risk of passing it along to my father-in-law, who is 80 and just had a heart procedure.
