I’ve noticed that the share extension the NYT uses runs afoul of my tracker blocker. The original site did not use trackers; the creator’s ethos was very respectful of users’ privacy.
Took me three. Not having size context makes all the difference on some of these. How’s you do the other say on [carribean island]? I was within 150mi on three guesses, the only names there I could think of down there. So close, so far.
On a recent [Caribbean island]it said 100%, but it didn't end. It took me a minute to figure out what was going - my distance was 51mi off. So the threshold for 100% correct is not 0 it turns out.
We have neighbors who usually hold a quoits party at this time of year, which is the only reason I know the word. I'm trying to find a pair of words that lets me knock out all of the vowels and Y.

I don't like going to double letters too quickly, but it just made sense. Also, in my short story, the protagonist did NOT eat the undercooked salmon mousse
This strategy of using the first two guesses to figure out all the vowels is effective, but it also results in me spending a lo g time feeling stuck after the first two guesses.
