      1. Andrelton Simmons is on the Cubs’ 40-man, but is starting the season on the IL.

        That said, I wouldn’t blame you for wanting to forget his season with the Twins.

    I wonder who had the longest post-Twins playing career of any veteran player who was acquired by the Twins and added to their active roster, yet never appeared in a game for them before moving to a new team.

  2. Doesn't Baltimore have Rule 5 guy from the Twins? Surely that counts as much as Brooks Raley.

    1. If they do, it's someone I've forgotten about. Or maybe someone who's injured, because again, I'm going by the active rosters.

  3. Looks like the Padres sent Rooker to AAA. He might have to get traded to the Athletics, Rockies or Pirates to get a fair shot at playing time.

      1. There are 60 million reasons Eric Hosmer is in Rooker’s spot on the active roster, and none of them have anything to do with Rooker’s level of play
