2022 Game 14: White Sox at Twins

Finally, an opponent in our same division! Royals? Nope, never heard of them. Definitely didn't score only 4 runs over 3 games. Nope, our high-powered offense wouldn't slump that badly. Didn't happen.

Anyway, assuming no weather issues, Ober pitches against Kopech tonight, and the Twins are going to score lots of runs, which is a thing they regularly do.

    1. Cubs lead with 16. The Phillies are second with 14. Those two teams have an OPS+ of 117 and 122 respectively however while the Twins are at 89.

    1. I’m in board until Kirilloff is back, and then they can timeshare a bit — Arráez at 1b when Kirilloff is in left, Arráez subbing at 2b/3b when Kirilloff is at first.

  1. Huh? Heat down by 1 with 4.4 seconds left. Miami isolates for some Jimmy Butler hero ball. Shot doesn’t fall, game over. #wherehaveiseenthatbefore

    1. My favorite part was where the first baseman dropped his glove like a little leaguer when he went to go chase the ball.

  2. Remember that game against the White Sox that ended with Alex Rios somehow throwing the ball into the visitor's dugout from right field? That was hilarious.

  3. Two things, that was cool and good and my goodness the booth is so much better with Morneau in it.
