Will Benson hit a two-run homer in the third to put the Clippers up 2-1.

Caleb Hamilton was 2-for-2 with a walk.
Kyle Garlick was 2-for-4 with a double.
Alex Kirilloff was 2-for-4.
Jermaine Palacios was 1-for-4 with a home run, his second.

Starter Bailey Ober struck out seven in five innings, allowing five runs (four earned) on four hits and no walks.
Tyler Viza pitched a scoreless inning, giving up two hits and striking out one.

CEDAR RAPIDS 6, PEORIA 3 IN PEORIA

Alerick Soularie hit a two-run homer in the second and a two-run triple in the fourth, giving the Kernels a 4-0 lead.

Soularie was 2-for-3 with a home run (his second), a triple, a walk, three runs, and four RBIs.

John Stankiewicz pitched five innings, giving up two runs on seven hits and a walk and striking out five.
Cody Laweryson struck out three in two innings, giving up an unearned run on one hit.
