Leading 2-1, the Storm Chasers scored five in the seventh.

Kevin Merrell was 2-for-3.
Caleb Hamilton was 0-for-1 with two walks.

Chi Chi Gonzalez struck out six in five innings, giving up two runs (one earned) on five hits and two walks.

The Saints are 15-20, in ninth place in the International League West, one game behind eighth-place Gwinnett, 9.5 games behind Nashville.  The Saints have lost eight consecutive games.

WICHITA 11, SPRINGFIELD 9 IN WICHITA

Trailing 8-5, the Wind Surge scored six in the seventh.

Alex Isola was 3-for-5 with a grand slam (his fifth homer), two doubles, two runs, and five RBIs.
Dennis Ortega was 2-for-3 with two runs and two RBIs.
Chris Williams was 2-for-4 with a walk.
Matt Wallner was 2-for-5 with a double and two RBIs.
DaShawn Keirsey was 2-for-5 with two doubles and a walk.
Spencer Steer was 2-for-6 with a double and two runs.
Andrew Bechtold was 1-for-3 with two walks.

Starter Matt Canterino struck out six in 3.2 innings, but allowed four runs on five hits and two walks.
Kody Funderburk struck out two in 1.2 scoreless innings, giving up two hits and a walk.

The Wind Surge is 20-12, in first place in the Texas League North, a half game ahead of Tulsa.

LAKE COUNTY 5, CEDAR RAPIDS 1 IN CEDAR RAPIDS

The Captains scored four in the ninth to break a 1-1 tie.

Willie Joe Garry, Jr. was 1-for-2 with a home run.

Sean Mooney struck out six in five shutout innings, giving up one hit and three walks.
Orlando Rodriguez struck out two in 1.2 scoreless innings, giving up a walk.

The Kernels are 24-10, in first place in the Midwest League West, one game ahead of Wisconsin.

CLEARWATER 5, FORT MYERS 4 IN FORT MYERS* (GAME 1--COMPLETION OF SUSPENDED GAME FROM MAY 1--11 INNINGS)

*The game started in Fort Myers, but was completed in Clearwater.

The Mighty Mussels took a 4-3 lead in the seventh on a double steal of second and home and scored in the ninth on a stolen base-plus-error.
