A less-than-triumphant return for "Minor Details", as all Twins affiliates lost.  Sawyer Gipson-Long made his AA debut.

COLUMBUS 10, ST. PAUL 1 IN COLUMBUS

It was 2-1 before the Clippers scored three in the seventh and five in the eighth.

Jake Cave was 1-for-3 with a double and a walk.
Michael Helman was 1-for-3 with a walk.

Josh Winder pitched three innings, giving up one run on two hits and a walk and striking out zero.

The Saints are 31-31, in sixth place in the International League North, a half-game behind fifth-place Gwinnett, six games behind Nashville.

TULSA 5, WICHITA 4 IN TULSA

The Drillers scored four in the second and led the rest of the way.

Starter Sawyer Gipson-Long really just had one bad inning in his AA debut, but his line is 4.2 innings, five runs, six hits, one walk, five strikeouts.
Andrew Cabezas struck out three in two shutout innings, giving up one hit.
Denny Bentley pitched 1.1 scoreless innings, giving up a hit and a walk and striking out one.

The Wind Surge is 33-26, in second place in the Texas League North, a half-game behind Tulsa.
