June 22, 2022: Local Artists

Twayn mentioned he was going to the local artist night at the Bullseye. It's a pretty cool collection.

You've got the budget to go to three games this season. Which artists' days will you be attending?

  1. Since, showing my ignorance of many things artistic, I've never heard of any of them, I think I'll be sitting out this poll.

        1. UPDATE: So I found one on Ebay for $50 plus $6 shipping. I counter offered $30 but he's not taking it (not the artist, someone who got the shirt from the game). So I guess I'll pay real money but not $56 of real money.

            1. I bought three of the Prince night Warm ups in 2019? Gave two away. Kept the Paul Molitor signed one and still one of my favorite impulse buys. My buddy Matt wears his all the time. James Rowand (sp) signed I think.

              1. Didn't know they have winter in the south.

Joking aside I might have one that I could part with.

        2. If I recall they were also selling the shirts in the Twins store as a fundraiser. Not sure if that was just day of game or if it's and extended thing. You might try calling to find out.

  2. My great-nephew is in ninth place in the bull riding at the National Junior High Finals rodeo after one ride. He'll ride again Friday morning.

      1. Yes, it is. He hasn't broken a leg (yet), but he did have a broken wrist once. His dad broke bones in his back in rodeos when he was younger. It's definitely a rough sport.

      2. The one time I rode a mechanical bull, the first maneuver of the bull surprised me and I ended up jamming my thumb. Kinda killed my experience.

    1. This is the team at Pike Place Market during the Seattle series. They ran a video of Arraez and others catching fish on the scoreboard last night. Also last night, it was Arraez and not Buxton getting the MVP chants from the crowd.

      1. I do love me some Arraez. He's in the same vein for me as Eddie because the on the field antics are hilarious. But you know he can hit consistently.

        1. This is why I don’t Twitter, I don’t want my stupid brain farts having a life of their own.

        2. I unfollowed him long ago but someone retweeted his disdain for the Arraez MVP chants last night. What a sourpuss.

  3. I wasn't able to make the game last night like I planned and am feeling some serious FOMO.

  4. My symptoms have ramped up a bit. Now to "shitty cold" level. Headache, pressure in my ears, hacking cough.
