Low-scoring games all around.  Sawyer Gipson-Long is adjusting to AA.  Mike Paredes has an outstanding game.

BUFFALO 2, ST. PAUL 1 IN BUFFALO

Logan Warmoth hit a two-run homer in the sixth.

Tim Beckham was 2-for-3 with a walk.
Jake Cave was 2-for-4 with a home run, his seventh.
Curtis Terry was 2-for-4.

Mario Sanchez struck out six in six innings, giving up two runs on three hits and no walks.
Evan Sisk pitched a scoreless inning, walking one and striking out one.
Drew Strotman struck out two in a scoreless inning, giving up one hit.

The Saints are 35-36, in sixth place in the International League West, a half-game behind fifth-place Indianapolis, eight games behind Nashville.

SAN ANTONIO 2, WICHITA 1 IN WICHITA

All the runs were scored in the second inning.

DaShawn Keirsey, Jr. was 2-for-3.

Sawyer Gipson-Long struck out five in five innings, giving up two runs on three hits and a walk.
Jordan Gore struck out three in 1.2 scoreless innings, giving up one hit.
Byran Sammons struck out two in a scoreless inning, giving up one hit.
Denny Bentley struck out three in 1.1 scoreless innings, giving up a walk.

The Wind Surge is 35-33, in third place in the Texas League North, a half-game behind second-place Arkansas, 5.5 games behind Tulsa.

WEST MICHIGAN 4, CEDAR RAPIDS 3 IN CEDAR RAPIDS (10 INNINGS)

The Whitecaps scored two in the tenth.

Pat Winkel was 1-for-4 with a two-run homer, his third.

John Stankiewicz pitched six innings, giving up one run on three hits and two walks and striking out three.

The Kernels are 1-2, in fourth place in the Midwest League West, two games behind Beloit, South Bend, and Wisconsin.  The Kernels won the first-half championship.

FORT MYERS 2, LAKELAND 0 IN LAKELAND (GAME 1--7 INNINGS)

The Mighty Mussels scored single runs in the first and fourth.  They had no RBIs.

Dillon Tatum was 1-for-1 with two walks.

Starter Marco Raya struck out the first two batters of the game, then was removed for "undisclosed reasons".
Mike Paredes retired all thirteen batters he faced, striking out two.
John Wilson pitched a scoreless inning, giving up one hit.
Niklas Rimmel struck out two in a scoreless inning, giving up one hit and one walk.

LAKELAND 2, FORT MYERS 1 IN LAKELAND (GAME 2--7 INNINGS)

Jose De La Cruz singled home the deciding run in the seventh.

Noah Cardenas was 1-for-1 with a double and two walks.

Jaylen Nowlin struck out seven in 3.2 scoreless innings, giving up four hits and a walk.
Matt Mullenbach pitched a perfect inning, striking out one.

The Mighty Mussels are 1-1, tied for third place with Lakeland in the Florida State League West, a half-game behind Bradenton and Tampa.  The Mighty Mussels won the first-half championship.
