  1. So I was driving south on interstate 39/90 just north of Madison. I had the cruise set at 78 and was in the far left lane making a pass when a van came right up on my bumper. I'm pretty sure they could tell what I ate for lunch they were so close. Before giving me a chance to complete my pass and move over, they passed me on the shoulder (going well over 80 to do so). This was a work van with the company name and phone number on the back, so I called and told whoever answered about what happened and that I was quite pissed.

I got a call back from them about an hour later saying they watched the on board video of the incident and that my truck was impeding traffic not passing anyone, blaming me for the incident nevermind that I DON'T DRIVE A TRUCK! This guy would not accept that I don't drive a truck and that I was, in fact, in the act of passing. Many yells and swear words later he hung up on me. (my son was with me so I was pissed.)

    1. So in addition to being terrible people, they are also incredibly stupid! A response to my Google review from the owner:

We appreciate your concerns. Although the left lane of any multilane highway is strictly a passing lane or for emergency vehicles. There for if you have your CRUISE CONTROL set in three left lane you have no business being there. Through out the state of Wisconsin and Illinois there are several signs stating " slower traffic keep right" along with bill boards that say "camp in the Northwoods not the left lane". This meaningless review you chose to leave has no reflection on the work or the service we provide for our customers. Thank you for sharing your thoughts and concerns have a great day.

    2. Pretty cool of them to record and not correct the very dangerous actions of their drivers. That’ll work out well for them when they cause a wreck…

        1. Oh for sure. There is also a big implication here that the same thing happened multiple times that day by that same driver if they saw him do it to a truck.

Also, it is extremely rich for someone from Illinois to lecture me about left lane etiquette/rules.
