...a good Indian restaurant last night.

I fell asleep at 8pm last night. That would be great, except I woke up at 4:30.

For the first time in nine years, I don't work through the middle of the night on Black Friday.

Today is the birthday of the first girlfriend I ever had. I remember this more readily than I remember her name, which trips me up for a minute sometimes, which is odd because there are five letters total between her first and last names, and they rhyme.

Yesterday was my brother's 34th birthday, and also the day he came to terms with the fact that he and his wife need to divorce. Their five-year marriage has been an unmitigated disaster for a long time, but my brother is such that he wanted things so badly to work that he fought the inevitable for quite some time, and poured himself into his job to avoid reality.

Midnight release last night, and I open today. My manager's pretty great at most things - scheduling is not one of them.

Wild beat Maple Leafs 2-1 in a shootout. I guess this proves great goaltending and a high octane offense is indeed a bad recipe for success.

The stories floating out there about the Knicks pursuing Kevin Love in 2015 are more about diverting their fans away from the steaming pile of dung that is the 2013-14 Knicks. I get that. What would be cool is if they just went away. The league is doing just fine without them.

The Casa de Leche went to the same restaurant last night that, on the previous outing, left all four of us sick. We seem to be fine, luckily.
