Hiraoka Hiroshi is considered by some to be the father of Japanese Baseball.
Catcher Pepper Bassett was a seven-time all-star in the Negro Leagues.
Right-hander Steve Gasser did not play for the Twins, but was in their minor league system for four years before being traded to the Mets in the Wally Backman deal. A second round draft choice, he did not play in the major leagues.

2021 Game 108: Minnesota Twins at Cincinnati Reds
Charlie Barnes
vs
Luis Castillo
Charlie Barnes returns to finish off the two-game series against the Reds. He started the first game of a doubleheader against Detroit before heading back to St. Paul for two more starts. He's had an unremarkable year in AAA but had a good spot start in Detroit. Let's hope he can do that again.

August 3, 2021: Zimmer Of Hope
More prominent ballplayers testing positive. Hopefully we'll keep getting candor like that lovable old crank from the Vikings.
