*Likely noted here somewhere in the past couple of days, but only 1 more double and he's in sole possession of the franchise record. Currently tied with Kirby Puckett at 414, but done in 573 fewer AB's (~250 fewer PA's). Pretty amazing how [relatively] similar the Puckett & Mauer offensive numbers are for their careers. Wondering if he'd be willing to waive the no-trade and 10 & 5 rights to head out of town for a chance at a ring ... WS appearance/ring could only help his resume for the HOF.
