2020 World Series Game 6

Game 6 and the Dodgers are on the doorstep.

Gonslin on the mound for the Dodgers and he's been fairly pedestrian during the playoffs so I think he may have a short leash, especially with Buehler slated for tomorrow they can probably dig deep into the bullpen if need be. Snell pitching for the Rays.

Been an entertaining series thus far so here's hoping for at least one more good game. First pitch at 7:08p. Apparently the roof will be closed. Not sure if they is an advantage for one team or not.

League Champion Series Tuesday: Sox at ‘Stros/Brewers at Dodgers

You get a rare two game LCS today, including a late afternoon game.

The Red Sox will be at Houston for game three of that series, all knotted up at 1-1. Eovaldi on the mound for Boston and Keuchel for Houston. Keuchel hasn't had much luck against the Red Sox, except for last year's playoffs. First Pitch at 4:09p Central.

Brewers will be at Chavez Ravine (does anyone call it that anymore) to take on the Dodgers after last night's bullpen-filled outing by the Brewers. Gio Gonzalez up against Rich Hill. Will GG only pitch a few innnings like earlier in the playoffs? It will be interesting to see if the Brewers can continue too use its Bullpen as effectively in a longer series. I'm sure the Jack Morris' of the world hate it, but the Brewers are two wins from the World Series. First Pitch at 8:09p Central.

2011 Game 79: Twins v Trustee aka in re Dodgers

Late night reports from Target field hint that the hometown 9 25 do indeed have a pulse. But questions remain:

Will the Twins win the series?
Does Jim Thome really watch reruns of the Mod Squad in the clubhouse?
Why haven't Joe Mauer and Justin Morneau hugged lately?
If Joe Nathan throws 93 mph from a train leaving Eighth Street, at what time does he arrive home?
Who the hell is Rubby De La Rosa, and why do I feel dirty when I say it out loud?
Will Nishioka eat grits?
Does Scott Baker look at the bullpen out of respect for Bert?
Will these questions ever be answered?
