This Week in Twins Transactions

Scott Diamond was activated from the disabled list.

Liam Hendriks was optioned to Rochester.

Wilkin Ramirez was placed on the paternity list, then activated from the paternity list two days later.

Oswaldo Arcia was recalled from Rochester, optioned to Rochester the next day, and recalled again the next day.

Tim Wood was assigned to Fort Myers on a rehab assignment, then promoted to Rochester.

Darin Mastroianni was placed on the fifteen-day disabled list.

Bruce Pugh was sent from Rochester to New Britain.

Evan Bigley was promoted from New Britain from Rochester.

Nelvin Fuentes was sent from New Britain to Fort Myers.

Jonathan Goncalves was promoted from Fort Myers to New Britain.

Aaron Thompson was activated from the disabled list by New Britain.

Matt Tomshaw was placed on the seven-day disabled list by Cedar Rapids.

Drew Leachman was activated from the disabled list by Cedar Rapids.

Jose Berrios was promoted to Cedar Rapids from Elizabethton.

Josue Montanez was sent from Cedar Rapids to extended spring training.

Where They Stand

Rochester is 2-11, in sixth (last) place, eight games behind Pawtucket.  The Red Wings have lost their last seven games.

New Britain is 7-6, tied for third, one game behind Trenton.  The Rock Cats have lost one consecutive game.

Fort Myers is 12-1, in first place, three games ahead of St. Lucie.  The Miracle has lost one consecutive game.

Cedar Rapids 9-3, in first place, a half game ahead of Quad cities.  The Kernels have won their last two games.

Minor League Players of the Week

Rochester:  Chris Colabello was 6-for-19 with two home runs, two doubles, and three walks.  For the season, he is hitting .441/.525/.853 in 34 at-bats.

New Britain:  Daniel Ortiz was 10-for-24 with two home runs, a triple, two doubles, and two walks.  For the season, he is hitting .400/.450/.743 in 35 at-bats.

Fort Myers:  Angel Morales was 11-for-24 with five doubles, a triple, and three walks.  For the season, he is hitting .333/.381/.538 in 39 at-bats.  D. J. Baxendale gave up two runs (one earned) on six hits, walking three and striking out eleven in 10.1 innings (two starts).  Those are also his season stats.

Cedar Rapids:  Dalton Hicks was 7-for-17 with five doubles, a home run, and two walks.  For the season, he is hitting .387/.472/.806 in 31 at-bats.
