Game 12: Cleveland at Minnesota

Twins sending Trevor May to the mound to face Glenn Anthony (TJ) House with a chance to secure the second series win in a row. In just over 100 innings last year, Mr. House struck out 80 batters and walked 22. For comparison, Mr. Salazar (yesterday's starter) struck out 120 in only 8 more innings while walking 35...hopefully the boys can put some balls in play today.

Santana is taking a day off and Escobar is filling in at SS - Dozier leading off. Lineup pretty much the same otherwise (Escobar batting 8th, Shane Robinson in Center, batting 9th).

Game 144: The Minnesotas at The Clevelands

May (1-4, 9.38 ERA) vs. Bauer (5-7, 4.10 ERA)

Trevor May has not pitched very well since coming up. Let's hope this isn't another game reminiscent of the header image, because the Twins annual September give-up period (4th anniversary!) is underway and pretty depressing in a baseball sense. If it weren't for the Kennys Vargases, Danny Santanas (what happened to him, is he injured or something? Never did see any news on why he was pulled the other day), and Arcias (and, of course, Mauers) of the world, it would be dire. I'm trying to remain optimistic about the future because the future offense does sound like a lot of fun. It would just be really nice to see the pitching come along with that.

Anyway, I'm planning on getting started with deck framing this weekend. Any citizens in the area are more than welcome to come by and help. I'm snake-method smoking ribs on Sunday.

2014 Game 123: Royals at Twins

A major league baseball game is scheduled to take place tonight at 7:10 post meridian, central daylight savings time, in downtown Minneapolis, MN. Two teams of 25 players each, the Kansas City Royals and the Minnesota Twins, will contest the game to determine a winner and a loser at Target Field. Each team will designate a starting pitcher, with the Royals selecting Jason Vargas and the Twins electing Trevor May. Play ball!
