GO TWINS!
Gentlemen.
We've got this going for us, which is nice.

Legendary speed from Byron Buxton. After stealing second, the throw went into CF and Byron scored. Yes, he scored.
Oh, please let Byron Buxton be as good as advertised.
Popular place...
Yeah, he wasn't trying to hit you. But if you want to charge the mound it will make the game more exciting...
Who whoa whoa, you guys are all talking too fast.
Linds just came in, looked at the TV and said "this is depressing"
Ive been in and out of the game, and of course Dazzle is calling the radio stuff
so what happened? Did a Twins pitcher actually intentionally hit a batter?
Not even incredibly close, though next time, Perez might get that one in the ribs that he was asking for.

have I mentioned that Herrmann is my favorite new player?

two earned runs through seven? Can't blame this one on Albers. This Mauer-free lineup is pretty worthless.
Well, that's part of why I invented the BOSO.
Fien gets a nod, too.
Dear Royals, you can stop scoring runs now.
Dear
RoyalsTwins pitchers, you can stop making it easy for the Royals toscoringscore runs now.FTFY
Clutch donger.
May not be able to post this too much longer
saw a report stating that Consuela did not clear waivers. Now what?
get traded to Baltimore.
I understand that, when things aren't going well, managers get creative and try some things. However, having watched the last couple of games closely, I have concluded that the current strategy of not scoring runs in the first seven innings is a bad idea. Granted, the Twins tried a variation on it last night, where they did not score runs in the first eight innings rather than the first seven, but this did not seem to work any better. I really think the if Gardy would tell the team to go ahead and score runs in the first seven innings, and in fact to score a lot of runs in those innings, the Twins would have a better chance to win. This one minor strategic change should set things to rights and get the club on the winning track again. We'll just have to settle for 88-74!
I am beginning to believe that a post season bid is in jeopardy. Will 88-74 be enough?
I think so. We have fourteen games left against the top three wild-card teams, so they all have guaranteed losses in those games. Besides, once we go on a winning streak, some of the other teams are sure to fold. It'll be a little closer than I expected, but we should still make it.
