Since there's a game going on, whether we like it or not.

By the time I realized it was a day game, we were already down 3-0.
Minnesota's Manager R Gardenhire ejected by A Porter in the 2nd.
haven't seen enough of this this year.
TWINS MANAGER RON GARDENHIRE WAS EJECTED BY HOME PLATE UMPIRE ALAN PORTER IN THE TOP OF THE SECOND INNING FOR ARGUING WARNINGS BEING ISSUED TO PITCHERS.
"Seriously Blue, do you think Sammy actually hit someone on purpose!!?" -Gardy
Twins look to Deduno to snap skid before hitting road
Didn't work.
depends on what kind of skid they were talking about
[Edit: what the hell am I drinking?]
Same.
DAY GAME ALERT! But I don't know where to comment!
If you comment on both this game is still likely to end up with under 20 between the two.
Colabello on a little 0-17 skid including 11 strike outs...he's been watching too much Trader Clete footage.
still watching him today, it appears.
I don't think Deduno could hit someone if he tried.
R Pressly relieved S Deduno.
...Ruh-row.
Consuela upping his trade value....slightly.
yeah, i'm loving the continuing tradition of trading players when their worth is at or near rock bottom.
Oooh, I've found the official game log.
just need an official game now
DOZIER'D!!
Dozed.
These guys are just not very good.
You know, I've had to defend many a strikeout-prone player to friends of mine in my day.
That being said, when the upside to most of these guys is a single with a double thrown in here and there, it makes the constant, unceasing strikeouts a hell of a lot harder to stomach.
At least the tying run will get up to the plate.
Not that that matters.
Getting swept by the Royals is becoming uncomfortably easy.
Since dropping 7 straight (and 10 of 12) to even out their record at .500, they've won five straight and are still only six games out of the second wild card. Which is only one fewer than the Yankees and two fewer than the Orioles.
Just their luck: they can't play the Twins anymore.
I hope this LTE doesn't land on the milestone list of posts.
Only if #164,896 is a milestone.
Everybody has that one team that they just can't seem to beat. Luckily, the Twins don't have to play that team any more. So, we'll just have to settle for 87-75!
I was recently beginning to lose confidence, but then I remembered that the Twins won 85 games in 1987 and then won the World Series. It is all still within our grasp!
