Somewhere between Nirvana and METZ. I listened to quite a few noise/rock/punk? albums this year, but I think this band from Baltimore was my favorite of the bunch.

If I wasn't awake before, I am now! I can hear the Nirvana-ish quality you mention in the middle portion of the song. When it comes to noise rock, I'm finding that I like it all right so long as there's a melody that I can follow. Without a melodic line, I just feel lost.
Oh, and I'd give this a 7 if it had the little rating stars.
Can vote now. I must have changed it so the post format has to be video for the ratings option to be available.
I think "like" is still too strong a word for me, but I'd echo the "all right so long as there's a melody that I can follow" sentiment.

That's how it starts. Pretty soon you're listening to 40 minutes of feedback and raving about the "texture" it brings to the sound.
no relation.
I liked this quite a bit. I'll have to check this out.
I'm looking forward to looking over your list tomorrow, DG.
I think I've got it down to 20.
Album available at "name your own" price here.
Thanks!
