An article in the New Yorker got me curious about the xx. I've only given them a cursory listen thus far. Anyone else have an opinion on them?

Their debut album is one of my favorite albums from the past five years (though I guess that this is the last year I get to say that... how has it been so long since 2009?). It has great atmosperics, good melodies, and excellent male/female vocal interplay (a weakness of mine).
Their second ablum, coexist, is decent, but nothing compared to the first one.
I really, really like the xx.
Having seen the video now, I really want to see them live.
The debut album is the one I just started listening to. The article I referenced didn't make the second album sound all that appealing, but apparently they've been up to some interesting stuff lately.
The one first has not a single weak song on it. There are maybe five or six albums that I feel that way about.
That debut is really killer, I absolutely love it. It's not something that screams that I'd love it, but I did. And this is why I always try to keep myself open minded and try new things.
That year I spent a lot of time listening to them and jj so I always think of those two bands together.
Yes! jj!
I was just thinking about them today. Apparently they have a new album coming out?
I've been listening to RR*.
It comes out next month, and I guess they're going by JJ now? I listened to the first song from it last night and it was good. Very excited for the album.
So I see it's about hanging out with Freealonzo.
