I was at the game last night. It was none too pleasant. I'm thinking of going back tomorrow and/or Monday, though.

DelmOn.
Why?
I enjoyed watching him strike out with the bases loaded last night. I couldn't tell what happened with his "home run". Watching it live, I though it was a catch until I saw Schafer didn't have it. I couldn't tell much from the replay at the stadium, but I was pretty annoyed that it stood when I saw the replay this morning.
Gardy was pretty annoyed by it too
from last night
"The person that looked at that film, shouldn't have been working there because that is a joke. That's embarrassing."
Maybe there are Yankee haters working the booth? Looking at the video at the stadium, I thought it would be overturned, but it was pretty hard to tell exactly what happened.
The Orioles radio guys thought so, too
The O's TV guys at first were like "that's definitely going to be overturned", but then they started rationalizing it "Well, you can't really tell if it was going to go over the fence or not."
Sorry guys, there's no way that would have cleared the fence.
Welp,
Dan J. Glickman @DanJGlickman
Alex Meyer has left the @rocredwings game with a trainer. #twins
They're calling up the trainer, too?!
He can't be worse than the guys we already have.

Kurt Suzuki, baby I love you

It's funny how manager can get on and off the field in 30 seconds and decide whether or not to challenge, but the actual challenge takes like 10 minutes.
Schoop took a thigh to the groin to make that tag.
Interesting exchange on twitter between Gleeman and Twins PR guy Dustin Morse linky
good point.
That was Delmons 10th walk of the season in 218 plate appearances.
That was some fine pitching to get out of that jam
Plouffe should be safe at second. He never had control of the ball.
Can we challenge this?
I guess so!
Dear J. Schafer,
Please stop trying to bunt.
Thanks
Everyone.

Bert Blyleven is making his one a month thing where he is engaged in the game in front of him. Its refreshing.
As I've said before, that's the most frustrating thing about Bert's broadcasting--he can be a really good analyst when he wants to be. It's just that he so rarely wants to be.
I agree. Knowing that he is playing dumb is worse than actually being dumb.
Now Suzuki is hurt. Jeebus.
He rubbed some dirt on his throat and stays in the game.
just a concussions for everyone!
Orlando Garcia ftw!
I hope Plouffe hits a double so the O's can pay for that cutoff relay mistake by the LFer on the sac fly.
Watching _elm_n and Vargas almost collide at first base is pretty hilarious.
_elm_n tiptoes on the bases, too.
runner at first and two outs -- automatic bunt?

Indeed. That's ridiculous. Duensing just throws up his hands when it goes out. The guy was out in front swinging at a ball low and away.
Dunced.
I think Duensing needs to start pitching inside to the righties. They are definitely looking away right now.
I looked away, too.
well placed Mauer
Dozier did need to score tonight -- all is right with the universe.
Didnt get the (correct) strike call, and two batter later Davis gets a 175 foot sac fly. goodness the Twins are snakebit.
pretty lousy throw by santana. you'd think an outfielder would make that play.
