Kyle Gibson (3-2, 2.70) faces off against Chris Archer (3-4, 2.59) in the rubber match of the series and homestand. After a couple of games that turned out better than expected, I'm hoping the weather holds off enough for the Twins to complete the sweep.

The Twins are 14-14 against AL Central foes, 7-2 against the rest of the league.
Man, if only they were in the crappy AL East.
I am awake from my nap. The Twins can score some runs now.
Ah HERE'S the game log
Mike Redmond got fired.
I know managing jobs in the MLB are precious, but why would anyone want to work with Jeffery Loria?
I'm guessing "want" is a strong word to use in Red Dawg's case
I'm talking about the person to replace Redmond.
I'm hoping a major league organization will give Redmond a chance eventually.
Seems to be a strategy to cram all the bad play into specific games, rather than spread it out evenly among all of them. We'll just have to settle for 145-17!
I'd be giddy if the Twins decide to just take 2 out of 3 each series.
Nunez comes off the disabled list and the Twins send out...Kennys Vargas? What's up with that? I know he had a terrible April, but he's been tremendous in May: 414/500/610. He raised his season numbers from 172/232/234 to 250/297/365. I don't get it. What am I missing here?
Yeah, it doesn't make much sense. I talked about it in my recap just posted.
They probably want him to hit the ball on the ground and go the other way.
