If you decide to watch, the two Twins' representatives this year are MLB BA league leader Luis Arraez and the AL starting centerfielder Byron Buxton (thank you, Mike Trout).

The game within the game -- if at any time the announcers discuss the Yankees' first half using terms like...
- unprecedented
- historic
- monstrous
- incomprehensible
- daunting
- untouchable
- insurmountable
- stellar
...drink!
Be sure to record any over the top superlatives here...
Buck looking good
I miss the players wearing the team uniforms.
Yeah, give that the leagues barely matter from a culture of the game perspective, it’s silly to be slapping the league & host city branding on players. I’d rather they do fun things like put players’ nicknames on the jerseys or have all players wear throwbacks from a particular year (with fauxbacks for relocated or expansion franchises).
Love the throwback idea
How the heck has it been 42 years since Dodger Stadium hosted an ASG!
Parking lot just cleared out from the last time
Considering LA fans start leaving in the 5th to beat traffic…
No, you're thinking of the Angels. Dodger fans actually care a bit.
Maybe those in the cheap seats. Lower bowl definitely started leaving in the fifth when I was there on Jackie Robinson Day.
Yeah, I believe it. Big A folks had to make it back home for Falcon Crest back jn the day
The NL has McClanaman figured out
Buxton!!
4BUX!
List of Twins to hit a HR in the All Star Game
2022: Buxton
2015: Dozier
1993: Puckett
1971, 1965, 1961 (1): Killebrew
Arraez in at first for the bottom of the fourth.
Julio Rodríguez in for Buxton.
Arraez strikes out in three pitches on not being able to check his swing. Luis Castillo did it so Twins should prioritize acquiring him next week.
Announcers all aghast at Helsley 103mph fastballs; Luis shrugs it off and singles
I love Nestor Cortes' glove
Liam Hendriks is miced up. Daring.
He's no Balfour thank God
One ball, otherwise an immaculate inning to close it out
