I didn't get 100 gecs at first. My first impression was of like a Gen Z version of Das Racist that was so abrasive it verged on anti-music. They made me feel old. Then I heard this song. Like most millennials I was an early-00's pop punk connoisseur, and this is the most disarmingly perfect pop punk song I have ever heard. It's like it exists to bridge the gap between our generations. According to Spotify this was my most played song of 2023!
