Had a little trouble sleeping last night. A couple of times, I was close to falling asleep and then starting giggling at the thought of Buzz Aldrin yelling, "FIRST!"
One of many impressive responses.
You're following along? Sweet. Good to know people are reading, even if they're not commenting this season very much.
I am. Usually I just read through the e-mail updates. Haven't had time to do more than that. Looking forward to being a participant/contestant.
And since I posted the above, the comments section has exploded. Survivor IX has finally arrived!
Yeah, I can't stop laughing at that one either. That was Dana, right? Man, that kills me.
I am watching season three of Breaking Bad as I was a little bit behind. I just finished up the parking lot scene. Wow. Holy heck. Oh my goodness.
I assume you mean the one with Hank? Yes, terrific. But the rest of season three lives up to that level. Amazing stuff.
FYI: the Insider podcast for season 4, Episode 1 of Breaking Bad is now up on iTunes. I haven't listened to it yet, but last year's were wonderful, led by the editor Kelly, who talked with Vance Gilligan, Cranston, etc. Highly recommended.
I put my eldest daughter on a plane to Europe last night, and I have to admit to a bit of anxiety today.
That sounds fun (for her at least). Where's she heading?
She's on a school trip focusing on WWII history, so a few days in London, then down to Portsmouth for a ferry ride to Normandy (Caen and Bayeux), then to Paris, and finally to Berlin. She'll be gone for two weeks.
That sounds a lot like the trip my brother went on a few years ago. He went from England to Normandy, then through Belgium and the Netherlands. He absolutely loved it.
For a HOF-cusp guy, this is the sort of undertaking that could put him way over or take him out of the running completely.
SBG posted couple of things he was praying for re: the NBA and Wolves; hiring Adelman would be mine (and many others' as well). Proven record, good fit, knows Love well. Get 'er done.
It would be a good hire, so I don't see Kahn pulling it off. More like, I see Adelman interviewing with Kahn and then turning his phone off and running far, far away.

Edit: I had the wrong parking lot scene, so I was a bit too far ahead.

Wow. Rick Adelman to interview for the Wolves job on Saturday.

The Vikings' punter is nothing if not an entertaining read.
Dido Didoes this.
Cheaptoy is on board.
Entertaining read...check.
@Stick - If you get a chance this weekend, can you get me a plaque from the old site?
Amy Winehouse is dead. Stunning, I know.
