Aragua scored four in the sixth to break a 4-4 tie, then scored three in the seventh to take an 11-4 victory over Margarita in Aragua.
Vinny Rottino led the Tigres with two singles, a double, and a home run, driving in six. Ramon Castro had three hits and scored three times. Alex Nunez and Lastings Milledge each had two hits and each scored three times. Edgardo Alfonso (yes, he's still around) also had two hits. Joe Benson was 0-for-3 with a pair of walks. Cesar Ciurcina worked 2.1 scoreless innings, allowing only a walk. Frank Mata got the win in relief, striking out four in two shutout innings while giving up a hit and a walk.
Wilmer Flores (Mets) lead the Bravos with two hits. The loss went to Rob Bryson (Cleveland), who allowed four unearned runs on two hits and three walks in two-thirds of an inning.
The teams combined for seven errors, Aragua making four and Margarita making three.
