My apologies if we had a Woodstock week at one point and I missed this. I love rock anthems, and with the possible exception of Don't Stop Me Now (of which there are no decent videos I could find), this one's my favorite.
i'm don't believe it was woodstock week, but i think i remember someone playing this at the old basement. don't mind hearing it again though.
I remember it, too... it inspired me to get the album (which my dad has) onto my iTunes.
Was it this clip, though?
actually, i believe it got me to throw it in my library as well. and yes, i believe this was the cut.
well, hopefully it'll inspire newbies to do the same
Done. Had Déjà Vu, but not CS&N. Quick question: when does my "newbie" status wear off?
when you can start referring to others as newbies because you've been here waaaay longer than them
Yeah, I felt like a noob until bhiggum showed up and became a regular, and that was probably well over a year, maybe two, after my arrival.
Far as I'm concerned, you're all still n00bz. Now get off my interwebs.
hmm, i wonder if my n00b status has been removed now then...
Only after I get the PayPal donation HTML.
great song.
Something I noted to myself a couple weeks ago is that the 2 classic rock stations I listen to have pretty much stopped playing CSN/CSNY songs. Instead its deeper cuts of AC/DC and Van Halen/Hagar and Def Leppard. gross.
also, where was Neil Young in this clip? maybe I missed him.
I've seen this clip many times, and though he's announced, he's never shown. I'm not sure why that is.
this was a CSN song (on their debut album). It's a three-part harmony, right? Neil probably took a doobie break when they did this song.
I've not heard a better explanation, although I've heard it said that the guy who introduces them misspoke because he assumed Neil was part of the song.
I'm not a big CSN&Y fan, but dang I have to admit that this a great song.
