My musical taste shifted pretty drastically when I went off to graduate school. I gave up my narrow minded punk rock ways for country, rap, bluegrass and folk. My studio mate was the one who introduced me to the Jayhawks and eventually convinced me that Bob Dylan was worth listening to.

All four times that I saw her were at that downtown former bus station--the first one in front of about a hundred people. Fantastic shows, all.
I should add that over this time period I also found bands like Built To Spill, Guided By Voices, Q and Not You, and Modest Mouse.
