As if it wasn't bad enough (given recent events) that Sour Cream has a pool party to go to today, it also denies the Milkmaid the ability to enjoy her birthday at home. I'm at work all day and the pool party is from shortly before I get home to hours later, so it's a pretty lame birthday for the wife. Well, them's the breaks when you have kids who have friends.

Her birthday only lasts one day? THAT'S what's lame!
I went to a ball game last night and experienced an 8-RUN INNING! (actually 9) ir was every bit as awesome as I thought it could be.
Well, at least they didn't say he needs to pitch to contact. Not that that's a problem for the Dunce.
None of you bastards wished me luck on my smog check, so my car failed. I blame the Nation.
Any brilliant advice on how to pass (legally) on re-test? My car was way over on the hydrocarbon measures (allowable PPM is 81 at 15 mph and 41 at 25 mph; mine measured 122 and 61, respectively). Everything else (CO and NO) passed.
I will note that I'm about due for an oil change. Normally, I get it changed every 5K. It's been a bit short of 4K. Also, I think I last changed my spark plugs about 10K ago. I aim for every 20K anymore, but suppose I may have to change those out as well.
where's that damned Twayn signal?
Seriously though, how about here?
yea, I warmed the car up thoroughly (20 miles at highway speeds) before taking it in, and it sat for only about 5 minutes before testing started.
I'm guessing that I have a car that is on the edge. I burn about a quart of oil every 1,000 miles. No doubt that is an issue for HC. But I really am not in any mood to have to junk this car right now.
