I know I'm the only one who cares, but I really think it's weird that there are still no teams that have clinched an AL playoff appearance.

So, going with Walsh was a good idea
You're not the only one who noticed, spooky. I saw that yesterday and was going to comment, only to discover you already had. It's pretty incredible that, with four games left in the season, no American League team has clinched a playoff spot.
And with more playoff spots up for grabs than ever before. It seems like the sort of race you can only get when everyone whose not in the race is way out of the race--there are currently no teams between 73 and 83 wins in the AL. The wins from all of those teams in contention have to come from somewhere, after all.
Yeah, a lot of good teams, a lot of bad teams, and no great teams. I do like how not only have no teams have clinched a playoff spot, but how important it is to win the division as well. Go O's!
And then one day later, all five teams have at least clinched a tie.
Ryder Cup action: the Americans should have slammed the door shut on the Euros by now. yeesh
i saw my first preview for seven psychopaths. didn't know that existed. hmm...
I want to see it because I loved In Bruges
huh. i remember that flick, but never saw it. might have to check that one out.
