TwinsEduardo Escobar (Anzoategui) was 1-for-4 and scored once.  Oswaldo Arcia (Aragua) was 2-for-6 with a grand slam.  Bruce Pugh (Anzoategui) pitched a perfect inning and struck out one.  Dakota Watts (Aragua) struck out three in 2.1 scoreless innings, giving up one hit and no walks.

Game summary:  Yangervis Solarte (Texas) singled in the tying run in the ninth and Arcia hit a walk-off grand slam with one out in the twelfth.

Anzoategui:  Alexi Amarista (San Diego) was 3-for-4 with a walk.  Jose Castillo was 2-for-5 with two RBIs.

Aragua:  Mike Cervenak was 2-for-5 with a double and scored twice.  Solarte was 2-for-4 with two walks, scoring once and driving in one.

Zulia:  Austin Bibens-Dirkx struck out ten in six innings, allowing one run on five hits and a walk.

Game summary:  Margarita scored five in the sixth to go ahead 6-2 and three in the seventh to lead 9-3.  La Guaira scored three in the eighth and three in the ninth to make the score look close.

Margarita:  Frank Diaz was 4-for-5 with two doubles, scoring twice and driving in two.  Dave Sappelt (Cubs) was 3-for-4 with a double, a home run, and a walk, scoring twice and driving in four.

La Guaira:  Javier Herrera was 4-for-5 with three home runs and six RBIs.  Salvador Perez (Kansas City) was 4-for-5 with a double and scored three times.

Game summary:  Magallanes was ahead all the way, building a 9-0 lead after five innings.

Lara:  Jesus Solorzano (Miami) was 2-for-2 with a run and an RBI.  Alicdes Escobar (Kansas City) was 2-for-3 with a walk.

Magallanes:  Endy Chavez was 4-for-4 with two doubles, a home run, and a walk, scoring three times and driving in three.  Eliezer Alfonzo was 2-for-4 with a home run, scoring twice and driving in three.
