Game summary:  Los Mochis scored three in the first, but Guasave came back with four in the second and added two in the eighth.

Culiacan:  Rodrigo Lopez pitched a complete game, allowing one run on five hits and one walk.  Mario Valdez was 2-for-4 with a double.

HERMOSILLO 6, MAZATLAN 5 IN HERMOSILLO

Game summary:  Hermosillo scored four in the fifth to take a 6-4 lead.  Mazatlan got one in the sixth, but no more.  They came closest in the seventh, putting runners on first and second with one out, but a double play ended the threat.

Mazatlan:  Jesse Castillo was 4-for-4 with two doubles and an RBI.  Chris Walker was 3-for-4 with a home run and a walk, driving in two.
