Twins: Virgil Vazquez (World) started and pitched a perfect inning. Tyler Herr (World) retired the only man he faced. Tim Atherton (Australia) pitched a perfect inning with one strikeout.

Game summary: Team Australia scored three in the second to take a 3-0 lead. The world scored two in the third, but Australia got one in the third and two in the fifth. The world scored two in the sixth but could get no closer.

World: Ryan Stovall (Arizona) was 2-for-3 with a walk.

Australia: Justin Huber was 3-for-3 with a walk and scored twice. Brad Harman was 2-for-4 with a double and a home run, driving in four.
