Zulia: Evan Gattis (Atlanta) was 3-for-5 with a double and a home run, scoring three times and driving in three. Gerardo Parra (Arizona) was 3-for-4 with a walk, scoring twice and driving in two.

LARA 5, CARACAS 4 IN CARACAS

Game summary: Jose Yepez led off the sixth with a homer to break a 4-4 tie. Caracas got the tying run into scoring position in the sixth, seventh, and eighth.
