Game summary:  Brisbane scored once in the eleventh, but Melbourne got two.  The winning run scored when Justin Huber was hit by a pitch with the bases loaded.

Brisbane:  Cody Clark was 3-for-5 with a double.  Hirotoshi Onaka (Texas) was 2-for-5 with a walk and an RBI.

Game summary:  Stefan Welch (Pittsburgh) singled in the winning run with no one out in the tenth.

Sydney:  Mitch Dening (Boston) was 3-for-5 with a double and scored once.  Shane Benson was 2-for-4 with a double and an RBI.

Adelaide:  Nathan Melendres was 3-for-5 with a run and an RBI.  Josh Cakebread was 3-for-4 with a walk and scored twice.

CANBERRA 9, PERTH 0 IN CANBERRA

Game summary:  Canberra scored two in the first, two in the third, and five in the sixth.

Perth:  Josh Silvi struck out two in two shutout innings, giving up two hits and no walks.  Aaron Bonomi was 0-for-1 with two walks.

Canberra:  John Holdzkom struck out six in seven innings, allowing two hits and three walks.  Jeremy Barnes was 2-for-3 with a double, a home run, and a walk, scoring twice and driving in three.
