Alright, guys, the World Baseball Classic is underway. Maybe you aren't into it, but I certainly am. At any rate, it's the best baseball Twins fans can expect for a while.

I'm into it, but I can't watch it, because I don't get MLB Network.
I watched nearly every game of the first two, mostly on TiVo the morning after they'd been played. I don't have MLBN anymore either, so all I've got are semi-reliable ways to see some of the games, and of course, I've got the option of actually going to a few games at Chase Field. I should probably get on that.
From their Facebook feed:
It's been a big week for high school basketball around here. One of the schools in my parish, the Sully Buttes Chargers, had its girls team win in the regions and qualify for the state tournament Thursday night. Last night, both Sully Buttes and the Potter County Battlers, the other school in my parish, won their district tournaments and will meet in the regions Tuesday night. Unless you've experienced it, you'll never understand how important high school basketball is in small town South Dakota.
Spamtown's Finest finished the regular season at 25-0, a school record. On to the postseason. High school BB can get pretty big in "large" town Minnesota too.
Potter County is unbeaten as well.
Not to make light of a human tragedy, but Florida sucks.
I'm accustomed to seeing posts on sinkholes on Russian blogs, and there was that massive one in Guatamala a few years back, but I'm at a loss for the last time I can remember hearing about one in the United States. La Jolla?
There is a pretty massive sink hole in s. Louisiana that has caused some significant damage to the environment, but probably wouldn't have made the national news.
I'm guessing that massive and massive are different.
Gibson with a nice outing; 1-2/3 IP, he did give up 3 hits (1 HR) and a BB, but only 1 run and 3 K's & 2 GB before reaching his pitch count.
Oh, and of course the only Twins hit so far is a Mauer single.*
*and Escobar just added a single.
I put KTWIN on a preset in my car today, so my spring training is over.
Rodney Williams had a 'holy f*&*&*g s&*&^*^!!! how did he do that!!' kind of dunk today.
Roy Halladay is the greatest pitcher in the history of the universe.
sheesh. I know that it is spring training and all, but come on.
Is he in the best shape of his life or summat?
Meat is murder.
That was graffiti on Av. Juan B. Justo in Palermo Hollywood in Buenos Aires.
Murder is delicious.
It will surprise no one here that Jonny Flynn was a draft bust.
It's odd that the dude has data back to 1990, but only wanted to rate players for the last decade for this piece.
in Wolves history, Flynn is probably in a group consisting of Will Avery (#14 in 1999) and Paul Grant (#20 1997) Ndudi Ebi (#26 2003)
Its not a shock the Wolves have been so bade for long because a) they havent been good at drafting people b ) the whole Joe Smith thing wiped out a chunk of years and they never cashed in on 2nd rounders.
Chris Johnson getting 1st quarter minutes!!!!
with Pek! and Kirilenko not playing because of injury, this is just sad.
