of all the pitcher who have started a game for the Twins this year, Samuel Deduno has the 3rd lowest WHIP: Hendriks 1.345, Correia 1.347, Deduno 1.352
I feel like I missed an injury announcement of so.e sort with Hendriks. Did his arm fall off? Did a hangnail graduate into a torn rotator cuff?
He was put on the disabled list in mid-May with a sore right elbow. I haven't heard anything about him since.
I hear he's going with rest and rehab.
The abandoned bike I rescued from the trash at the rink is being fickle about getting repaired. Judging from the shape it's in - broken shifters, bent kick stand, loose pedal - someone laid it down pretty good. The petal isn't fitting tight on the spindle and loosens itself as I go. The spindle looks in OK shape, but the hole in the pedal it fits into has been rounded out a bit. I'm gonna try the community bike shop down the way on Tuesday and see what they think. I got the brakes fixed and new shifters are on the way, but that doesn't mean much if I can't pedal the damn thing.
Phil Miller @MillerStrib
Twins faced ex-CFs (Hunter/Gomez/Span/Revere) in 15 of last 23 gms, and it hurt: 23-62 (.371), 10 RBI, 2 2b, 2 3b, 4 HR. But Twins went 9-6.
So.... it didn't hurt?
It hurt, but it didn't kill.
just back from IM3 with the Boy. Fun flick. Stuff blows up real good.
Just back from the man o' steel, and yeah. blow'd up.
Ditto with Runner daughter. Plot holes you could fly a suit of armor through, but stuff blows up, so it evens out.
Has Splitter always been so worthless? Dude has looked terrible all series.
disagree. he has mostly done what they ask of him - rebound, play defense, move the ball, attack the rim when the opportunity arises. he is limited, but useful.
I think it's just bad timing by me.every time i look up, he's bouncing it off his knee.
well, he doesn't have great hands or handle, so I suspect that your impression is not too far wrong. But once he gets control of the ball, he often makes good decisions. He just has no business trying to do anything off the dribble.
This is the least old Ginobili has looked in weeks.
cosign.
Based on the officiating the last few minutes, what's the spread for this game?
I'm just gonna leave this here.
Watching competent three point shooting is so weird.
No kidding, though Green's 67% in the series goes beyond competent, and into the realm of magical.
the Pale Hose were swept by the Houston Astros. oof
