In six days, my daughters are gone for two weeks. I'm sure it'll seem like a novelty for a day or so but after that...well, I'm not looking forward to it.

Both no-hitters were thrown by pitchers on my WGOM fantasy team. FYI, Kyle Gibson is on my fantasy team as well. Just sayin'.
why does the MLB schedule the Futures Game on Sunday afternoon when all the big league clubs are playing? Just dont hae a Sunday Night game and play the Futures Game in primetime.
Miguel Sano up right now in the Futures game.
And he'll get another shot at it because the runner at first got caught stealing.
That's a good idea. So they'll never do it.
If the ump hadn't blown the call yesterday, Florimon would have been bunting instead of swinging away. So, the Twins would have most likely had 2nd & 3rd and 1 out leading 2-1 instead of a two-run HR from Florimon and a 4-1 lead.
Cory Monteith, of "Glee," died of an overdose last night. I never watched it but I was under the impression he was one of the leads. Overdose, age 31. Ugh, Hollywood.
My brother-in-law finally decided to put himself into rehab for his meth addiction. He's at New Beginnings in Waverly, one of the best facilities in the state. We're going to go visit him on Wednesday.
Those visits are excruciating in some ways, and so incredible in others. I made a few to two of my best friends, both of whom recovered. Best to him.
In anticipation of the All-Star break I've been filling up the DVR. Vertigo, Some Like it Hot, Where Eagles Dare, The Longest Day. I've also been on a film noir binge lately. In the past two weeks we've watched Double Indemnity, The Postman Always Rings Twice, The Big Heat, and Key Largo. Last night we watched The Seven Year Itch and Ted (which turned out to be more entertaining than I anticipated, especially after three Margaritas). I've also got To Have and Have Not and a few other goodies scheduled to record this week. I do loves me some TCM.
Nobody respond! Third Monday Movie Day is a single day away!
...okay, I can't resist. I think it's high time I watched Some Like it Hot again.
It does have one of the greatest final punchlines of any comedy ever made.
Yep, I've answered that question with that film before.
Given that list, add the recent Hitchcock to the list as well.
YDNROCT!
Oops, wrong thread.
This has been a fun one to see. Not so much Doumit's running.
Oops, wrong thread.
Happy Birthday, Ralph Rowe!

oops, wrong thread.
Just watched Sano fly out to Buxton. That was exciting.
Oh wait, are we not putting things in this thread?
Just to be sure, I have the AS Game post again this year, correct?
It's tradition. Go for it.
Twins are 4-3 at Yankee Stadium since 2012, Yankees are 6-1 at Target Field.
Just leaving another Mallards game. It's pretty sweet having a winning team to root for this summer.

Byron, you're always welcome to cut mine.
